Jade Goodenough

Jade trained at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Acupuncture where she studied both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five Element Acupuncture and takes an integrated approach to care.

In addition to her studies, Jade uses other Chinese Medicine techniques such as Tui Na (Chinese medical massage), Cupping, Gua Sha, and Moxibustion.

With a Licentiate in Acupuncture (Lic Ac) and as a member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC), Jade is regulated and bound by the exemplary professional standards as detailed in the BAcC Code of Safe Practice and Professional Conduct.

Having worked as a civil servant for 15 years in various government departments, Jade realised that in order to progress her career she would need to study for the relevant qualification.

Understanding that working full time whilst studying would be extremely hard, Jade questioned her ability to commit to a subject that wasn't close to her heart.

Jade had received acupuncture herself many years before for a condition called Meniere's disease and believes that the treatment gave back her quality of life.

The sessions also sparked a life-long fascination with acupuncture and Chinese medicine.

With this in mind, Jade decided on a complete career change and embarked on gaining her degree in Acupuncture.
